After bursting onto Bristol’s independent coffee scene in 2014, Brew Coffee Company has already established a loyal customer base who come back each time for unique, artisan coffee and hand-cooked food made from scratch. The menu offers breakfast, lunch and weekend options including quiches, frittatas and salads alongside a new filter coffee each week – plus the company’s very own blend ‘Brew’.
With a quirky interior including a slate barmade from old snooker tables – and the all-important laptop charging points – Brew Coffee is perfect for those freelancers tired of working in typical high-street coffee chains and seeking something new. “We’ve created the kind of shop where we’d want to relax, meet people and drink good coffee ourselves,” explains owner Matt Atkins. “We have a simple interior so we can focus our attention on what’s important: the coffee, the food and the service. For first-time visitors I’d recommend our Brewfast, which is two rashers of bacon, avocado and poached egg on sourdough bread with tomato relish, or if you’re a vegetarian, the smashed avocado on toast.”
Located in the heart of Clifton, Brew Coffee wins consistently excellent reviews from its customers and only uses local and charitable suppliers. Take a look for yourself.
