Issue 54

I hope you love this edition of IPSE Magazine. The team have worked hard to make sure you have all the latest news on working for yourself. If you’ve read recent issues, you will know about the Independent Review of Self-Employment. This review was published 14 February and took up all of IPSE’s recommendations. George Anastasi, our Policy Development Manager writes about what the review might mean for you and your business.

We’ve also spoken to Anna Soubry, the UK’s first ever Small Business Minister, with a seat in David Cameron’s cabinet. We learnt she is funny, committed to helping the UK’s 4.6 million self-employed people and pushing hard to tackle late payment as part of the upcoming Enterprise Bill.

That’s not all, you can read about the work IPSE is doing to inspire the next generation of freelancers and find out what it takes to work for yourself in Canada.

Enjoy the read!
